BLK & W Film
“BLK & W Film” is a photographic series captured using a Canon AE-1 Program film camera. Shot entirely on Fujifilm black and white 35mm film, the collection was photographed within the Smithsonian Museum of Modern Art.
Blending elements of street photography with contemporary art, the series explores the intersection of documentary and visual expression. Through this lens, “BLK & W Film” captures a surreal juxtaposition—portraying modern-day Washington, D.C. through the timeless aesthetic of analog photography. The result is a nostalgic glimpse into the present, evoking the feeling of archival images from a yet-to-come future.
